This film was shot by Jordan Belson from Patricia Marx’s artwork.
The Kodachrome picture roll is made up of 1951 and 1952 stock, and the original optical track is on 1952 stock. Although this evidence doesn’t definitively date the film to 1952, it’s reasonably likely that this film was actually shot and printed in 1952 versus 1953, especially since the original elements for Obmaru (also shot by Belson) are all on 1952 and 1953 stock.
